Absolutely shocking statistics reveal that India is responsible for 10% of global road fatalities, which is the highest amongst all other countries of the world.

A 2016 report suggests that out of 4.8 lakh accidents that took place on Indian roads, more than 1.5 lakh people lost their lives and almost 5 lakh people were injured.

Despite these alarming numbers, however, government apathy has been a constant phenomenon.
